Georgia High School Volleyball - Model over Georgia School for the Deaf

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) and the host Georgia School for the Deaf Tigers (Cave Spring, GA), observed Model's volleyball team top Georgia School for the Deaf by a tally of 2-0.

The Blue Devils (20-12) will now prepare for their contest against Armuchee (Rome, GA). The Indians enter the 1A Area 7 contest with a 27-1 record. In their last contest, Armuchee beat Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers meet the Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 17. Georgia School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Pumas enter the contest with a 0-14 record after their 2-0 league loss to Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA).
