The Gillespie Miners volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Pawnee Indians to 1 in the Miners non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Miners now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to North Mac for a South Central outing on Thursday, September 19.

With the loss, Pawnee drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Bunker Hill (Bunker Hill, IL) to clash with the Minutemen in a MSM outing on Monday, September 23. The Minutemen come into the outing with a record of 2-7.
