The Godwin Heights Wolverines edged the host Lee Legends volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Fruitport Trojans (Fruitport, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver game, on Thursday, September 19. Godwin Heights will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 12-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Belding (Belding, MI).
The Legends (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Potter's House Christian (Wyoming, MI). The Pumas go into the non-league game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Potter's House Christian nudged Zion Christian (Byron Center, MI), 2-0, in a league game.
