In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Midland Chemics volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Heritage Hawks.
The Chemics (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Saginaw (Saginaw, MI). The Trojans come into the Saginaw Valley challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Saginaw was nudged by Davison (Davison, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Hawks meet the Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) in a Saginaw Valley challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Heritage will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Oilers come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Bay City Western (Auburn, MI).
