In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host St. John-Vianney Lancers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Howell Rebels.
The Lancers (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ). The Hornets come into the Shore B - North challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Holmdel lost by Wall Township (Wall, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Rebels play the Middletown South Eagles (Middletown, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Howell will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
