In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Independence Patriots volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sissonville Indians.
The Patriots (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Bluefield (Bluefield, WV). The Beavers come into the Coalfield AA challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Bluefield lost by Graham (Bluefield, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians play the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Sissonville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-17 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV).
