The Jones County Greyhounds prevailed the host Putnam County War Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Greyhounds confront the Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 19. Jones County will attempt to advance on its 8-16 season record. The Red Devils enter the game with a 14-10 record after their 2-0 league loss to Morgan County (Madison, GA).
The War Eagles (6-14) will now prepare for their game against Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 10-15 record. In their last test, Harris County was defeated by Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN), 2-0, in a non-league test.
