The Magruder Colonels volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Northwest Jaguars to 2 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Colonels now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Springbrook for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 19. Magruder will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Northwest drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD) to play the Cougars in a Montgomery County 4A - West outing on Thursday, September 19. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 2-2. Quince Orchard lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD)
