Richard Wright Public Charter School Spartans (Washington, DC) supporters were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team hold off the host Paul Public Charter International Pirates (Washington, DC), 2-1 in a league contest.
The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against KIPP DC Legacy College Prep (Washington, DC). The Bulldogs enter the PCSAA contest with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Pirates battle the SEED DC (Washington, DC) in a PCSAA contest, on Thursday, September 19. Paul Public Charter International will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
