Texas High School Volleyball - University overwhelmed by Saginaw

The Saginaw Rough Riders topped the visiting University Trojans volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Rough Riders confront the Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) in a 5A Region I District 5 game, on Friday, September 20. Saginaw will attempt to advance on its 9-21 season record. The Bearcats go into the game with a 20-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Granbury (Granbury, TX).

The Trojans (6-15) will now prepare for their game against Chaparral (Killeen, TX). The Bobcats go into the 5A Region II District 16 game with a 13-12 record. In their last game, Chaparral went down by Wimberley (Wimberley, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
