Maine High School Volleyball - York over Sanford

The York Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Sanford Spartans to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cape Elizabeth for a Class B outing on Thursday, September 19. York will play a Capers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Messalonskee (Oakland, ME). The Capers record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Sanford drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Portland (Portland, ME) to play the Bulldogs in a Class A outing on Thursday, September 19. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 0-4. Portland lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Westbrook (Westbrook, ME)
