Kentucky High School Volleyball - Tates Creek tips Woodford County

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Tates Creek Commodores volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Woodford County Yellowjackets.
The Commodores (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY). The Eagles enter the District 43 challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Lexington Christian got by Madison Southern (Berea, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Woodford County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Generals enter the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Bourbon County (Paris, KY).
