The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Westlake Thunder to 0 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Salem Hills for a contest on Thursday, September 18. Maple Mountain will face a Skyhawks team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Timpview (Provo, UT). The Skyhawks record now stands at 1-4.

The Thunder (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Salt Lake Academy (Herriman, UT). The Griffins enter the contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Salt Lake Academy was overwhelmed by Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT), 8-0, in a league contest.
