In Wednesday's league match, the host Maine South Hawks flag football team scored a tight 13-7 win over the Glenbrook South Titans.
In their next game, the Hawks play the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Maine South will attempt to improve on its 9-0 season record. The Ramblers go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 21-19 non-league loss to Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL).
The Titans (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Niles North (Skokie, IL). The Vikings go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Niles North was edged by Evanston (Evanston, IL), 38-0, in a non-league challenge.
