The St. Joseph Cadets smashed the visiting Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers soccer squad by a margin of 7-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Cadets now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Ludlowe for a Fairfield County bout on Friday, September 19. St. Joseph will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Norwalk (Norwalk, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Bridgeport Central moves to 0-2 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to Darien (Darien, CT) to face the Blue Wave in a Fairfield County contest on Friday, September 19. The Blue Wave enter the contest with a record of 0-0.
