Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) and the host Corry Beavers (Corry, PA), saw General McLane's soccer squad triumph over Corry by a count of 5-0.

The Lancers (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Meadville was overwhelmed by Warren (Warren, PA), 6-1, in a league match.

The Beavers now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Erie for a non-league match on Saturday, September 20. Corry will meet a Royals team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA). The Royals record now stands at 2-7.
