Virginia High School Football - Washington toppled by Bishop O'Connell

The Washington Patriots football team (Charles Town, WV), dropped 26-8 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA)

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Landon (Bethesda, MD). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Landon thwarted Flint Hill (Oakton, VA), 22-7, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Southern Bulldogs (Harwood, MD) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, October 8. Washington will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
