The Boone Braves held off the visiting Ocoee Knights football squad by a margin of 17-14 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Braves now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Timber Creek for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. Boone will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 6-6 non-league West Orange (Winter Garden, FL). The Wolves record now stands at 2-1.
The Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Horizon (Winter Garden, FL). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Horizon edged Wekiva (Apopka, FL), 12-6, in a non-league test.
