The Rocktown Raptors football squad scored 24 points and limited the host Charlottesville Black Knights to 22 in the Raptors non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Raptors now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Broadway for a challenge on Thursday, September 25. Rocktown will face a Gobblers team coming off a 28-6 non-league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Gobblers record now stands at 0-4.

The Black Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Albemarle was nipped by Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA), 54-6, in a non-league test.
