In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Western Albemarle Warriors football squad scored a good 26-0 triumph over the Monticello Mustangs.
The Warriors (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos go into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record.
The Mustangs now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Madison County for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 24. Monticello will play a Mountaineers team coming off a 18-12 non-league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-2.
