North Carolina High School Soccer - Albemarle nudges North Rowan

In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting Albemarle Bulldogs soccer team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the North Rowan Cavaliers.
With the triumph, Albemarle advances its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host West Davidson (Lexington, NC) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 5-1. West Davidson 0-0 in their recent non-league test against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC)
The Cavaliers now have a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to North Stanly for a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A bout on Monday, September 22. North Rowan will play a Comets squad coming off a 4-3 league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Comets record now stands at 4-7.
