With the triumph, Downingtown East moves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA) to meet the Golden Knights in a Ches-Mont - American match on Thursday, September 25. The Golden Knights come into the match with a record of 6-2.

The Red Raiders now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to J.P. McCaskey for a non-league match on Saturday, October 4.
