Midd-West Mustangs (Middleburg, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Midd-West moves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 3-5.

The Comets now sport a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Wyoming Valley West for a Wyoming Valley 1 test on Thursday, September 18. Crestwood will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 10-0 league win over Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-2.
