The Jefferson Jaguars edged the visiting Orono Spartans soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next, the Jaguars face the Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 25. Jefferson will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record.
The Spartans (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Delano (Delano, MN). The Tigers enter the Class A Section 6 game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Delano held off Monticello (Monticello, MN), 2-1, in a league challenge.
