In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 win over the Rivers Red Wings.

The Mounties (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against South Kent School (South Kent, CT). The Cardinals enter the Houstatonic Valley Athletic League (HVAL) outing with a 3-1 record.

Next up, the Red Wings confront the Tabor Academy Seawolves (Marion, MA) in a Independent School test, on Friday, September 19. Rivers will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Seawolves come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 4-0 league win over Governor's Academy (Byfield, MA).
