In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) soccer squad nipped the host Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL), by a margin of 1-0.
The Spartans now hold a 14-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bloomington Central Catholic for a Illini Prairie challenge on Thursday, September 18. St. Joseph-Ogden will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL). The Saints record now stands at 3-6.
The Spartans (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth (Warrensburg, IL). The Cardinals enter the Sangamo contest with a 2-7 record.
