Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Palmerton nudges Saucon Valley

In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Palmerton Blue Bombers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Saucon Valley Panthers.
The Blue Bombers (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Spartans come into the Colonial test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Southern Lehigh edged Bangor (Bangor, PA), 4-0, in a league test.
The Panthers now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Catasauqua for a Colonial outing on Thursday, September 18. Saucon Valley will play a Rough Riders squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 3-6.
