Georgia High School Softball - Putnam County can't get by Baldwin

September 17, 2025: Milledgeville, GA 31061

The Baldwin Braves edged the visiting Putnam County War Eagles softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Braves play the Howard Huskies (Macon, GA) in a 3A Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Baldwin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 15-14 league loss to Academy of Richmond County (Augusta, GA).

The War Eagles (0-11) will now prepare for their challenge against McNair (Atlanta, GA). The Mustangs enter the 1A D-I Region 4 battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, McNair was tipped by Lamar County (Barnesville, GA), 15-0, in a league battle.
