Next, the Fighting Indians confront the Northwest Lions (Cedar Hill, MO) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 18. Jackson will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Windsor (Imperial, MO).

The Knights (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Poplar Bluff (Poplar Bluff, MO). The Mules enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Poplar Bluff was routed by Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau, MO), 17-6, in a non-league battle.
