Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA) fans exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their softball team run past the host Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA), 11-0 in a non-league match.

The Trojans (18-4) will now prepare for their match against Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Indians come into the 1A D-I Region 7 match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Chattooga notched a victory over Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA), 10-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bruins battle the Ridgeland Panthers (Rossville, GA) in a 3A Region 7 match, on Thursday, September 18. Northwest Whitfield will attempt to better on its 6-13 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 7-11 record after their 7-3 league loss to Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA).
