Plattsburg Tigers (Plattsburg, MO) supporters exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their softball team tip the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MO), 15-13 in a non-league match.

The Tigers (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Mid-Buchanan (Faucett, MO). The Dragons come into the Class 2 District 14 match with a 10-6 record.

In their next game, the Minutemen battle the Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO) in a Class 2 District 15 battle, on Thursday, September 18. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Richmond (Richmond, MO).
