The Plainfield Quakers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Avon Orioles to 1 in the Quakers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Quakers now have a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton Southeastern for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20. Plainfield will play a Royals team coming off a 3-2 league win over Westfield (Westfield, IN). The Royals record now stands at 15-1.

The Orioles (3-13) will now prepare for their game against Franklin Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Flashes go into the Hoosier Crossroads game with a 11-5 record. In their last game, Franklin Central gained a win over Greenwood (Greenwood, IN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
