In Wednesday's non-league bout, the St. Thomas More Cavaliers (Milwaukee, WI) volleyball team held off the visiting Brookfield Central Lancers (Brookfield, WI), by a margin of 2-1.

The Cavaliers now possess a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Catholic Memorial for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 17. St. Thomas More will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Muskego (Muskego, WI). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-6.

The Lancers (5-11) will now prepare for their match against Hamilton (Sussex, WI). The Chargers enter the Greater Metro match with a 25-3 record. In their last match, Hamilton held off River Falls (River Falls, WI), 2-0, in a non-league match.
