Illinois High School Volleyball - Dwight can't hold off Flanagan-Cornell

The Flanagan-Cornell Falcons tipped the visiting Dwight Trojans volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.

Coming up next, the Falcons clash with the Heyworth Hornets (Heyworth, IL) in a Heart of Illinois outing, on Thursday, September 18. Flanagan-Cornell will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Hornets come into the outing with a 13-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Tremont (Tremont, IL).

With the loss, Dwight drops to 9-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Seneca (Seneca, IL) to clash with the Fighting Irish in a Tri-County outing on Thursday, September 18. The Fighting Irish come into the outing with a record of 12-5. Seneca won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL)
