The Sabercats (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ). The Padres enter the 4A - Desert Sky contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Marcos de Niza beat Glendale (Glendale, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Firebirds meet the Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 22. Eastmark will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Cobras enter the contest with a 8-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ).
