Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Fairview Knights (Boulder, CO) and the visiting George Washington Patriots (Denver, CO), observed Fairview's volleyball team top George Washington by a count of 3-0.

The Knights (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Monarch (Louisville, CO). The Coyotes enter the 5A/4A Granite Peaks contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Monarch was knocked off by Erie (Erie, CO), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Patriots battle the DMLK Panthers (Denver, CO) in a 4A City battle, on Thursday, September 25. George Washington will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record.
