Ohio High School Volleyball - Western Reserve over Mathews

The Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) volleyball knocked off the visiting Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH), 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Waterloo for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet match on Thursday, September 18. Western Reserve will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Memorial (Campbell, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 4-8.

The Mustangs (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Bloomfield (North Bloomfield, OH). The Cardinals enter the Northeastern match with a 2-9 record. In their last match, Bloomfield was outscored by Cardinal (Middlefield, OH), 3-0, in a league match.
