Middlebury Tigers (Middlebury, VT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Randolph Ghosts (Randolph, VT), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Colchester (Colchester, VT). The Lakers enter the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Colchester beat Montpelier (Montpelier, VT), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Ghosts meet the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT) in a Division 2 challenge, on Friday, September 19. Randolph will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT).
