In Wednesday's non-league match, the Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), by a count of 3-1.
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) in a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A bout, on Thursday, September 18. Olympic will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 11-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over West Stanly (Oakboro, NC).
With the loss, Monroe drops to 0-14 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Union Preparatory (Indian Trail, NC) to clash with the Polar Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. The Polar Bears come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Union Preparatory lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Grace Academy (Matthews, NC)
