The Central Grizzlies volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Bakersfield Drillers to 1 in the Grizzlies non-league victory on Saturday.

The Grizzlies now have a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paso Robles for a non-league game on Saturday, September 18. Central will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Mission Oak (Tulare, CA). The Bearcats record now stands at 8-7.

The Drillers (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Centennial (Bakersfield, CA). The Golden Hawks enter the Southwest Yosemite game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Centennial held off Downey (Downey, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
