Maryland High School Football - Howard victorious over Long Reach

In Monday's league match, the visiting Howard Lions football squad scored a good 24-0 victory over the Long Reach Lightning.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Wilde Lake Wildecats (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County match, on Friday, September 22. Howard will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Wildecats enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 16-14 league loss to Atholton (Columbia, MD).

The Lightning (2-1) will now prepare for their match against River Hill (Clarksville, MD). The Hawks enter the Howard County match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, River Hill thwarted Centennial (Ellicott City, MD), 28-18, in a league match.
