Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Greensburg Pirates (Greensburg, IN), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Anderson Indians (Anderson, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Connersville will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Kokomo (Kokomo, IN).

The Pirates now have a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Batesville for a Eastern Indiana challenge on Wednesday, September 20. Greensburg will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 league win over Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.
