Match Summary
The Squires dominated possession against Covenant Christian with 19 shots on goal. Delone had many near misses and Covenant Christian had some great saves in the 1st half. Ultimately, the Squires broke through and came out of halftime even stronger scoring all 4 goals in the second half. To start it off, 1) JP Groves #4 popped up a shot off the crossbar and the goalie saved it but the ball spun out of his hands and Groves put it in the back of the net, 2) Vlad Kojic #64 threw it in to Groves who flicked it with a header back to Nolan Kruse #9 who then dribbles and pops it over goalie's head, 3) Kojic passes it from the back to left-mid, Groves, who pops it over to center midfielder, Michael Carter #10 who then passes it to Kruse who puts it in the back post, and 4) Max Holz #36 drives to the corner and crosses it but it is intercepted by a defender who clears it right to Carter who then dribbles over to the left post and puts the ball in the back post for the score. Squires win 4-0
