The Fisher Catholic Irish held off the visiting Granville Christian Academy soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Irish face the Grove City Christian Eagles (Grove City, OH) in a Mid-State - Cardinal challenge, on Wednesday, September 20. Fisher Catholic will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 4-0 league loss to Wellington School (Columbus, OH).
The now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northside Christian for a Mid-Ohio Christian challenge on Friday, September 22. Granville Christian Academy will face a Lions team coming off a 4-1 league win over Madison Christian (Groveport, OH). The Lions record now stands at 6-3.
