Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Buccaneers now own a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they host Creekview for a 6A Region 6 challenge on Thursday, September 21. Allatoona will battle a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Etowah (Woodstock, GA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Paulding County falls to 14-5 on the campaign. The Patriots host South Paulding (Douglasville, GA) to battle the Spartans in a 6A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, September 19. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 10-8. South Paulding lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Newnan (Newnan, GA)
