The Pirates now sport a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Kearney for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 19. Platte County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Truman (Independence, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Excelsior Springs falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Tigers host Oak Park (Kansas City, MO) to face the Northmen in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 19. The Northmen enter the match with a record of 5-6. Oak Park lost 15-1 in their recent non-league match against Fort Osage (Independence, MO)
