Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Forge Christian Fury (Arvada, CO) and the visiting Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO), witnessed Forge Christian's softball squad tip Platte Valley by a count of 10-9.

The Fury now sport a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Peak to Peak for a 3A Denver Metro match on Tuesday, September 19. Forge Christian will face a Pumas squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to The Academy (Westminster, CO). The Pumas record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Platte Valley moves to 4-10 on the season. The Broncos travel to Brush (Brush, CO) to face the Beetdiggers in a 3A/4A Patriot match on Tuesday, September 19. The Beetdiggers go into the match with a record of 7-8. Brush won 19-9 in their recent non-league match against Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO)
