Louisiana Bulldogs (Louisiana, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting North Shelby Raiders (Shelbyville, MO), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Elsberry for a Eastern Missouri challenge on Thursday, September 21.

With the loss, North Shelby falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Marion County (Philadelphia, MO) to battle the Mustangs in a Class 1 District 10 challenge on Tuesday, September 19. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Marion County won 10-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Linn County (Purdin, MO)
