The Northeast Raiders (Macon, GA) softball routed the host Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA), 18-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Raiders (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Jasper County (Monticello, GA). The Hurricanes enter the non-league challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Jasper County was routed by Social Circle (Social Circle, GA), 21-2, in a league challenge.
With the loss, Twiggs County falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Cobras host Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA) to battle the Trojans in a 1A D-II Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, September 19. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Johnson County won 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Georgia School for Innovation & Classics (Hephzibah, GA)
