The Mayer Lutheran Crusaders volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Belle Plaine Tigers to 2 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Monday.
The Crusaders now have a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethlehem Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 26. Mayer Lutheran will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-6.
The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN). The Royals enter the non-league game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Watertown-Mayer nipped Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN), 3-2, in a non-league game.
